Ah Sephora. You offer so much promise with your beautifully lined stores full of my favourite things. I am soooo glad these are not in the UK. I'd never be able to save any money!
Needless to say I spent ages in there (I meant 2 hours at least) and I also spent a small fortune! Loved it though. And the boyf dutifully stayed with me the entire time. Well, no, actually he stayed in the mens fragrance section and...

Ok, so it's been a while to say the least.
I've been wondering whether or not to carry on with this blog - mainly because I feel that I don't want to just blog about beauty any more. In fact, I would rather blog about anything and everything and therefore it felt like my blog was slightly restrictive given it was titled a beauty blog.
Also, I don't quite feel like the name of my url really works for me anymore. I mean, everyone grows...

Hmmmm which to wear???
I am absolutely loving these two celeb perfumes at the moment.
On the left is Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck Enchanted and on the right is Britney Spears' Island Fantasy.
I love having new perfumes for summer - there is something about the warmer weather that makes me want light, summery, fresh scents. In winter I prefer heavier, spicier scents.
Wonderstruck Enchanted
This perfume really reminds me...

Barbara Daly Summer Nail Varnish - £5.00
(L-R shades - Fondant Fancy, Cola Cube, Butterscotch and Marshmallow)
These pretty colours are perfect for summer and a total bargain at £5.00. Too tempting to leave when shopping for groceries at Tesco eh!
I absolutely love these colours and think they are perfect for my toe nails to wear with flip flops now that the weather looks to be picking up. Nothing will replace my gel polishes for...

Click on Photo to see closer up version!
So I recently purchased this BB Cream. I've got to be honest, I'm more of a heavy coverage kind of girl but from time to time I do like to lighten my foundation (usually when the weather picks up). Therefore when I was shopping in Boots the other day I picked up a tube of Revlon's Photoready BB Cream to see whether it was any good.
It retails at £9.99 from Boots.
Now Revlon...

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream and Face Cream
I literally cannot seem to live without these two beauties. And I have tried. It just doesn't work though, nothing works for my skin as well.
I don't know about you, but I am finding that more and more things are irritating my skin, especially with the horrendous British weather at the moment. It is so depressing living in England! (well, when you consider the weather anyway...

If you follow me on Instagram (@giddyprincessbeauty) you will probably have realised that I am on a fitness journey. I have lost 9 lbs so far. It's involved a lot of exercise and clean eating and I've enjoyed it for the most part.
This is one of my favourite weekend breakfasts - gives me the feeling of having a sweet treat without being too naughty or getting me too off plan. It also looks yummy I think!
So here it is...

Gelish Shade Plum and Done
Not so long ago I took the plunge and bought some Gelish Nail Polishes. I was using a couple of the at home brands, but finding it didn't last as long as my beloved Shellac.
I assumed that this was unfortunately just because you do get what you pay for.
I was right. My polishes by Red Carpet Manicure, Sensationail and Mint Shellac were becoming more and more unreliable and I was getting a lot of chipping...

Hi.
This was me on Saturday night. Gave the Naked 2 Palette a good test and yes, I know I am late on this band wagon, but I bloody love it!
And if you have seen my recent YouTube vid's you will know I am SERIOUSLY into the Revlon Lip Butters. New obsession!
So this was the look I ended up with. Loving the pink lip and pink top combo and I am sorry, but I am seriously loving my necklace also haha!!
Used:-

For some reason I am back on the quest for a HG foundation.
Joy - money and time spent and wasted for the most part.
I have however found this beauty in the course of my search. It's not perfect because sadly it melts away after a few hours, but it is certainly a good foundation if you find foundations generally last well on you, or you are happy to top up.
The finish is beautiful - smooth and full finish without looking...

And my new favourite colour is...
Blue Yonder Sensationail Gel Nail Polish £10
(I paid £15 for mine in Boots. Delivery is £3 unless order over £25)
As you all no doubt know by now I am obsessed with Gel Nail Polish. I absolutely love adding to my collection and now do my own Gel Nail Polish Manicure at home.
I have three Sensationail colours now (pink chiffon and coral sunset are the others) and I absolutely...

Collection 2000 Metallic Cream Eyeshadows £2.99
I've been using these for what feels like years now but it is probably around 18 months.
I'm a massive fan of cream eyeshadow for in the week when I am trying to get ready in a hurry and don't want to spend ages blending etc.
So I've built up quite a nice little collection now.
These aren't my favourite ones of all my cream eyeshadows (that would go to No7)...

Collection 2000 Fix Me Up Spray £5.99
Ok, so this is something I have been using for around 6 weeks now.
At first I was using it every day although I haven't really used it in the past week.
To be honest, I have got bored of it. I have given it a good run, but it doesn't really add anything to my makeup. It definitely doesn't seem to make it last any longer on me. I didn't think it would realistically as I am...

I’ve recently had my hair cut. Hurrah! Honestly though, it’s one of those things that fills me with dread. Mainly because I never come away happy.
This time however I do actually like the cut and in celebration of that I thought I would do a post on my present hair care routine.
Shampoo and Conditioner.
For the most part I am using Lee Stafford’s Breaking Hair Shampoo £8.99 and Lee Stafford’s Breaking...

So I thought I'd mention a little product I've been using a lot of today. Many of you know it. It's the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. This is a great little cheap powder you can pick up from any drug store or supermarket. There are a couple of shades. I use their translucent one to set my makeup and give it a smooth finish.I apply with a large brush, but you can of course apply with a pad too (which creates a heavier coverage. For me I prefer a lighter...

Mascaras. So much promise they hold and yet so many let me down!
It's so difficult to find a mascara that you totally love - or it is for me anyway. This was one of my go-to mascara's back in the day. I discovered it because a girl I followed on Myspace (back in the day) had amazing eyelashes and when I asked her why it was because of this mascara.
Cue years of applying Fabulash.
I'd say I haven't used it though...

Well it's that time of year when all of the excitement of the christmas and new years eve celebrations have passed (and you've already broken some of your new year resolutions) that it's time to take stock of what changes you really want to make that are both practical and realistic.
Here are my beauty new years resolutions:-
1. Clean Beauty Tools More Regularly
Germs, germs, germs..!
Ok, so I don't know about you but this is something that...

Now that the festivities are well and truly over I think it's about time I got back to blogging!! Ah! What a crazy time of year it is. All that build up and it feels like it is over in a flash. I had a lovely time though and I hope you all did too.
I certainly need to get some more Muji storage following all the lovely gifts I received! Such a hard life eh!
Anyway, this is a long overdue post about a brand I discovered at...
