I seem to be loving lace at the moment. I don't know why, I just can't help myself.
Take today, went into Zara and tried on the most Lacey looking dress ever, in cream, with long sleeves.
Sounds vile? Well no, but definitely not suited to my look. It was a little like this...
I looked ridiculous when I caught sight of my reflection - totally child like!
So needless to say it wasn't purchase, but it got me searching...
Its hard to find lace that doesn't make me look a) childlike, or b) mumsy. However, these tops seem ok and are on my new lace wish list...
Realistically, the middle one won't suit my shape. Boobs and boxy shapes tops don't often work so well I've found.
So I'm leaning towards the first or third, probably the third. What do you think?

I've seen a gorgeous white lace dress but I'm worried it'd look far too 'Bride' to wear out :( Would probably work on a holiday but definitely not a night out. That being said it's the only one I've seen that doesn't look like a pair of net curtains.... x

ReplyDelete@Vicky - ah yes, it can make you look really bridal. It's funny how we all seem to find things that we like but will only deem holiday appropriate - I was thinking that about the lace dress I tried on (before I actually saw it on me)! x
